You know you're getting old when you watch the 4th of July fireworks on TV.

But I did go and see the tall ships that are visiting Boston for the holiday.

Funny, it was pouring with rain on the esplanade (although the fireworks went ahead anyway). We didn't get a drop here, and we are only about 4 miles away. There was a magnificent lightning show though, nature's fireworks, I suppose.
