Kuang Si Waterfalls

We had an early start to see the monks receiving alms from local people; this happens in the early morning everyday, the monks are given freshly cooked rice.  A very pleasant drive through the jungle clad countryside to the Kuang Si Waterfalls arriving early before any other tourists.  We walked up beside the many falls; the water cascades down into beautiful aquamarine pools.  Returned to Luang Prabang by a river boat on the Mekong.
