The Mob Museum

The city of Las Vegas, Nevada has quite an extensive museum on the Mafia which ran quite a bit of the country starting in the late 1800's.   Joe and I spent 3 or 4 hours doing the tour and reading quite a bit until we realized how late it was and how long we had been there!    The picture I chose shows the funny side of law enforcement.   These 2 guys were undercover police officers who impersonated a "couple" and apparently got away with it!  There was also the harsh side with lots of blood and bodies.  The US Government looked the other way for years (decades) before finally coming to the decision that something had to be done to stop the mafia.    The mafia still exists but I imagine it will never be to the extent that it was in the early to mid 90's.
