Wound up in Wexford

Snow

It's jolly cold this evening, and this was the scene through our garden room window when we sat down to eat.  There was no way I was going outside to get a photo without reflections.

Earlier in the evening I had spent ages trying to sort out our TV arrangements.  We watched the first episode of a 2 part "Silent Witness" on Monday evening, but I had missed the second part on Tuesday.  So I decided to watch it on BBC iplayer - which we can watch on the TV through the PS3.  But when I switched on - first off we couldn't see the PS3 at all - loose connection.  Then we discovered that it was ages since we last used the PS3, and we had to reconnect it to our new router - which taxed my IT skills.  And finally we had to update the system before I could eventually watch the programme.

Complexity has increased dramatically from the 4 channels and the video recorder - though even the video recorder was operated better by our kids than by us, especially if we wanted to programme it to record something whilst we were out.
