Sunlit Bridge 63

On the Shropshire Union Canal.

It's been my first day back into retirement and what a lovely day it has been  too - blue skies and  nice and dry but oh, that wind, so icy and I have bright red stinging cheeks now.

Met my friend B for lunch at the local Garden Centre and what a bonus not to have to rush off at 2pm to get back to work..  In the Summer the fruit and veg stall owners at the Garden Centre rescued a Blackbird with a broken leg.  They fed and nursed said Blackbird and now have a family of five to feed each day on grapes and apples.  I noticed that one of the B/birds had a ring on its leg but the owners didn't know why.  They said that that particular bird was the tamest and very cheeky.  It may have been hand reared by someone: Larchlea, perhaps??!!  I've put a picture of the  cheeky one in Extras..

Our main computer is sorted now, just my laptop to go, which is in laptop A&E at the moment.
