Roundabout

This is taken just before I left work today. I have missed getting a cool dusk shot as the days are fast getting longer (yay).

I don't know what you think of roundabouts. They are a very British thing, and growing up here, I am very used to them. However, I couldn't help noticing, even as a child, that when junctions with roundabouts got too busy, they took them out and put traffic lights. A few survive though, and this one (Trade Centre roundabout) is possibly the most tricky of them all... only six exits (so a junction really couldn't work) and heaven help us all because taxi drivers from various parts of the world have their own idea of how best to tackle them. No guesses then of the confusion and delay they cause by getting into the wrong lane, and once you make it to your exit unscathed, you can't help feeling very very glad that you've made it to the next leg of your journey. There you go...

Great day for the end of the week; and then G went off to help with Children's Church while I spent time putting together a selection of songs for a gathering we've been invited to tomorrow night. I don't know if you've ever put together music for any occasion, but it is never a 10 minute job... It's lots of fun though... Several hours later, I am only half way through. :D
