Snow

Snowing hard last night in Wooler, and again this morning, so I took the bus in to Berwick this today. Good decision, as the roads were covered in slushy snow or icy water. Less snow by the time we reached Lowick, and in Berwick no sign of the white stuff at all, except for one two cars, bonnets still covered in it. (Still an awful lot of flood water in the valley, as you can see.)

MrM picked me up after work, and stopped on the way back so I could take a photo or two as the light was fading (rapidly). Had hoped to get a shot of hundreds of geese in the air, flying north over the Cheviot and Yeavering Bell, but by the time we came to a safe parking spot it was too late. We could still hear them honking though!

Very sad news about Alan Rickman - a great actor.
