#Walk15000steps

Even though I’m the most gorgeous little collie in the whole wide world and I get a couple of hours of walks every day; Ann likes to have little challenges to complete when I’m on my walks.

We’ve walked the whole 630 miles of the South West Coast Path.

We’ve completed the #walk1000miles challenge in less than 6 months

……………And now we need a new project.  And we can’t think of one???  So Ann said, ‘Molly, I’ll think we’ll try and walk 15000 steps every day.’

10,000 steps a day is do-able!  We’re finding that 15,000 steps (between 6 – 7 miles) is only do-able (is do-able a word?) if Ann doesn’t have to go to work and we can go on a big long walk.  Unfortunately Ann does have to go to work because if she didn’t, she wouldn’t be able to afford to buy me all the treats I get and most of her work involves sitting in front of a computer though I guess if she drank more cups of coffee, she’d have to walk to the kettle & the toilet more often? Lol!

Today I went on my morning walk for about 40 mins, (Ann went to work), walked for more than an hour around Hayle this afternoon, Ann walked all round Asda and when I got home I’d only walked 11,884 steps.  Grrrrr……………  Well, actually, that’s what Ann had walked. (She has a pedometer permanently attached to her bra!).    If I’m off my lead I probably walk four times as far as she does.

We’ve only been doing this challenge for about a week and Ann’s fed up with it already…………………….

…………….All suggestions of new challenges will be gratefully received.

PS – If anyone’s interested we’re posting a photo and the number of steps we’ve walked each day on Twitter.  @ArmstrongAnny
