Another survey done.

After a ridiculously early start to get Tricia to school, I completed another leg of the bird survey I said I'd do. Again not many birds but the light made up for it. As ever I got caught in one of those hail storms that really hurt for a minute or two but otherwise enjoyed the shifting clouds. 
The best birds are visible in this photo but only as dots - a flock of 22 Brent Geese. They spend the winter here but are easy to lose in the vastness of the sands at low tide.
Tonight Tricia has a knitting group and so the three husbands are having our knitting group in the local hostelry. Important to help keep local businesses afloat.....
