Dragon fruit
We caught a train to a market right over on the other side of Melbourne today. Each market has its individuality and this one is located in an area, very rich multiculturally and this is shown in the food sold in the market. We're used to seeing some very "weird" sorts of vegetables here, if not in the supermarkets, then definitely in the independent shops and in the markets. Today there was a host I'd never seen before and I wouldn't know what to do with them. Dragon fruit is not new to me however but I just had to take a shot of it - I love it's bold and beautiful colour contrast!
I've added a couple of extras.
(After yesterday's 41.3 deg C, today's 19 deg was a welcomed relief).
