Sunflowers

There were lots of fields of sunflowers all around in various stages of growth. I was on the lookout for a field with all the heads facing towards me and in full flower, which meant going up and down lots of country lanes to get 'the' shot.

In the end I liked this one the best with the little bees flying about. I even got a bee's shadow on the petals. The colours really were this bright under the French sun.

I've spent the last day and a bit back blipping to try get them all posted asap or I'll never catch up, and also catching up on some journals and looking forward to seeing the rest of your pictures :)
