The highlight of today has to be the meal we had at Beth's College (UCB), to celebrate us going to Portugal. Can honestly say I've never had such a sophisticated meal, with three delicious courses, plus an amuse bouche, a middle course of tandoori lamb ribs (an extra because of being Beth's guests), a pre-dessert, and petit fours with the coffee.
But the thing that really impressed me were the menus that lit up when you opened them - what a great idea. Took photos of every stunning-looking course, but the one I've put in the extras is of my dessert: Mango Buttermilk Pannacotta, served with Mango Compote, Coconut Meringue, Coconut and Lime Sorbet, Lime Cracknel and Mango Tuille.
I will get better with this camera...
