Handy Arabic Phrases from 1943

My Mum came across this diary that belonged to her father when he was in Alexandria, Egypt during World War 2. He has written very little in it, mostly what appears to be when and how much he was paid, and how much he sent home, but the Useful Arabic Conversation is quite interesting!

Extra is the map of Alexandria - I presume it's just showing the city centre - I'd imagine it's a bit different these days.
