..........another day.........

Two big events today.............

I paid off the mortgage.......I'm now the sole owner of a biggish, three bedroom detatched house ..........when the Daughter moves out later in the year I'll be rattling around like a dried pea in a cocoa tin!

Just after Helen died I lost a filling.........top left of mouth......January 2nd a crown came loose..........bottom right........not easy eating for the last week or so. Today I went to the dentist...in a fit of machismo I had the filling replaced and the crown removed and cemented back in....all without anaesthetic! 

So tonight's meal had to be fairly soft............macaroni cheese........... with a topping of the herb and spices cheese that D &V and B & S brought from Amsterdam.......bloody good it was too.......especially when the chilli bits kicked in!

I don't think I'll starve when I'm on my own.
