He makes me smile

This wee guy stands proudly at the bottom of one of the grand staircases in Glasgow City Chambers. 

Apart from reminding me of the wonderful Glasgow 2014 XX Commonwealth Games, and the benefits it brought to our city, he never ceases to cheer me up after another tense, boring or fractious meeting.
