Norwegian Wood?

No, Sheffield Wood! We were meeting a friend for lunch today, so we decided to earn it by having a bit of a walk first. Soon after we set off in the car, it started raining. It seen turned to sleet and by the time we reached our destination, there was a light dusting of snow. We walked up to where a landmark called Stanage Pole used to stand (now demolished on health and safety grounds, :-\  but no sign of the promised replacement). It was as winter should be - cold and crisp - the best way to see the wonderful views. Even more had been opened up since we were last there as a result of some recent logging. By the time we turned round to go back, the snow had disappeared.
