Sand everywhere.......

instead of a narrow path with foliage either side.   Since the river flooded everything looks so barren as normally lots of snowdrops would be in evidence this time of year.    My extra is one I found pushing it's way through.  I am sure in time it will revert to it's natural wildness;  and the Balsam will reign supreme.
