A topical choice as, in England, Junior Doctors were on strike today. The govt. are trying to impose a new contract upon them. Suffice to say...it takes a LOT to make doctors strike, and no matter what twisted version the media puts out, it's NOT because of pay and working at weekends. It goes deeper than that. The beginning of the end of the nhs happened many governments ago..but I have no doubt this govt. will put the nail in the coffin.
I was pleased to hear how much public support the doctors got. It was also great to see many using the strike as an opportunity to teach CPR to the public while they were out.
