Lavender's blue, dilly dilly

I've had fun photographing pinwheels in the garden this week. The reflections are amazing.

It's hard to take a photo of the lavender bed and not get a bee in the picture, it's quite alive with them.

Dilly, dilly.
I had no idea about the history of this song. It was originally a bawdy English folk song, ca. 1670.
