Liverwort

with all the rainy mild weather we are having the wall in the woods is dripping with mosses and liverworts. This one was catching the light during my lunchtime walk so I thought I would enter it for Tiny Tuesday.

This liverwort is called Plagiochila asplenoides, it is one of the biggest leafy liverworts and fairly common throughout the Uk. It likes the wet woods.

I would have liked it to be sharper but I didn't have the tripod with me. No time to write more as I'm looking for photos for tomorrows camera club competition, it is so difficult to decide.
