48 Crash

Finally!

After what seems like an eternity, 8 weeks the powers that be, must've been watching over us tonight.

The sun didn't shine but the rain didn't fall either!

An evenings racing was definitely on the cards.

The previous Friday was supposed to have been the 1st leg of a Knock-Out Cup Competition, however due to the meeting being rained off, the 2nd leg took place on Sunday in Glasgow.

Monarchs beat Tigers 46-44 a great result for us, putting the team in a strong position for the rescheduled home meeting.

So, how did they do tonight?

A resounding 52-38 victory for the Monarchs (98-82) aggregate.

So they now progress to the semi-finals where they will meet Ipswich Witches.

Monarchs Man of the Match was Andy Tully.

Another Andy did rather well today too, reaching the Final at Wimbledon! He's the first male British player and certainly the first Scottish one too to reach a final in 74 years.
He's already a champion in our eyes!
