Heath Pool

Following on from yesterday's geotubes these are the other end of the pipes dredging the pool. There was quite a little crowd of dog walkers gathered to watch as the workers came across in the boat and climbed on to the machinery. There was a sigh of disappointment from a little boy when no one fell in the water, it made everyone laugh.
At the front of the shot you can see where the bank has been extended and will eventually be full of reeds creating a more natural edging. It should look good when it's done.
