Light and dark

Dull this morning, but some interesting light on the estuary with a few almost breaks in the cloud.

I'm still have trouble getting macro shots of my flowering cacti.  On a day like this the flowers don't open, but the contrasty light on a sunny day makes things difficult too.  I need to set up a background and filter the light, but it seems too much trouble.  And if I don't do it on the day when the flowers first open, then may spoil by the following day....  But maybe tomorrow!
