Bird of Paradise

Rained overnight and still wet this am.  Cleared after breakfast so we took a stroll in to Funchal.  Well when we got there it was time for coffee so called in at the Ritz and spent a pleasant hour chatting and having our coffee.  Then onward to a museum and a visit to the market and caught a taxi back to the hotel.  By coincidence it was the same taxi that we have booked for tomorrow to take us to the orchid garden (guess what my blip will be tomorrow)  Bigger coincidence he lived in Southern Rhodesia for many years and I lived in Northern Rhodesia.  My blip today is a Bird of Paradise flower which in one of my favourite flower.s  Nice warm day and the sun came out later.
