A Split In The Clouds

Another dull day so I stayed home and got on with some jobs as my daughter is coming to stay for a few days. I have been sorting out some old family photos to email to my brother. I have many taken in our younger days, including some of our parents, that he probably hasn't seen. Suddenly I noticed the sun streaming through the window, so I waited for a sunset shot. It seemed as though the sun had split the clouds in an attempt to push through, but as it slowly sank in the west, darkness fell and within minutes it was pouring with rain.
