Weir

Again today the weather has had that "signs of improvement" feel about it, and I even got the bike out this afternoon for a quick blast down the road to pay some cheques into the bank (always a pleasure). The odometer sits at 9990, and tomorrow... well, we'll see.

But this morning we did one of our customary circular walks and this is the view looking down over the weir at the Pin Mill. The water was still quite high and flowing fast into the Little Avon.

Tonight is the first full parish council meeting of 2016, having settled the budget last week. Following the interviews just after the New Year, I get to introduce our prospective new Clerk to the Council this evening. Fingers crossed we all work well together.
