Looking Over Glastonbury

Called into see our friend (and golfing partner), Dave this morning. He's still recovering from the latest treatment he had just before Christmas. He has cancer of the oesophagus and has already had chemo and radio therapy. His latest treatment was more invasive and has left him short of energy for longer than he expected so he hasn't been able to get out much lately.

We sat chatting over coffee and enjoying this view from his lounge, with St John's Church in the foreground and Wearyall Hill, where the original Holy Thorn can still be found, behind.

With the golf course closed after all the wet weather, Tess & I got some exercise with a swim at the indoor pool this afternoon.
