Such a shock to wake up to the news that David Bowie had passed away.  It reminded me of that winter morning thirty-five years ago, in late 1980, when I was woken in a similar way with news of John Lennon's passing, also in New York.  Different circumstances, but both deaths equally unbelievable.

David Bowie always fully expressed his creativity in his own unique way, and he lived by this principle right to the very end.  One of the many good things about Blipfoto is its encouragement of this same attitude in the many individuals who contribute their own images and words every day to the site.  There is still time to help save this fantastic site from closing down - https://www.blipfuture.com/invest


PS:  Due to staying at Mum's for longer than usual again this week and consequently being busier than I would be at home, I'm still playing catch-up (yet again) with my blips.  The backblip I did for Sunday somehow got posted into the wrong date, so I've had to delete and re-post it which means I've lost the lovely comments which Blipfriends had made on it :-(
