A wood carver with a dream, moved to Coos County. The dreamer rallied the locals and began to recruit students who have evolved into a group of wood carvers with a dream who have become a town with a dream. Mother Comfort was a wood carver, and one of these dreamers bought her carving tools when she passed from this world. Her carving lives on.

The dream? Build the most beautiful carrousel in Coquille, Oregon. I bet if you google Coquille Carrousel, you'll find them.

Much to my delight, I found the symbol of their dream on the side walk during my lunch hour!
