A rude awakening

This is just some of the road-removing machinery that's ridding up my road today.

The noise started at 6.30 and seems to have kept going since. I'm impressed with the technology and I guess they can't do much about the noise pollution

I wonder if the many speed bump on the existing surface will be replaced
