Criccieth

The first proper day of our holiday adventure to Wales but we were all knackered having driven from our stopover point in Lancaster in the baking heat the day before.  So we kept it local(ish) to the farm we were staying at and pootled about on Criccieth beach which had an excellent selection sand and smooth flat stones for building dinosaur lairs. 

The heat combined with the heavy skies made the whole place seem a little gloomy and faded though and even ice cream and bacon rolls seemed to boost energy levels that day.
