Fields Full Of Poppies

Off to Roughton (Lincolnshire??) for a lunch with my bf's family. Well, his wife's family to be precise but I guess as he was in it for 30+ years, it's his family too. The mother-in-law's birthday, all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren there to see her blow out her candles. Oh, and Gary's wife June, too. Not as odd as it might sound and we do get on well. How very modern and civilised of us all!

Driving back through the lanes of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire (I think), we saw fields and banks spilling with poppies and couldn't not catch a few snaps, that would just be wrong.
