Manchester.
After meeting Kathryn in Manchester (7 hours on a coach on your birthday - youch) we decided to be tourists in the city. We went to the museum of science and industry. I wouldn't recommend it actually - a lot of the interactive stuff didn't work which was a bit of a let down. It's a shame because the man on the door was so enthusiastic. Here's the babes trying to make their own fun by posing on some stairs.
After this we went to a cool pub and had a yummo lunch before doing a bit of shopping and heading to another pub next to the o2 apollo. It was a bit of a weird pub but I liked it.
We saw Regina Spektor in the evening and she was incredible. Such an impressive voice. At one point we thought it was all over, when she went off the stage clutching her throat and saying she thought she was going to pass out...but like a trooper she came back and still sounded amazing. Bet she didn't feel good the next day though - get well soon!
