Sad news to wake up to - couldn't believe it when Danny told me... What a creative legend Bowie was...

Asha has given Sol a stack of her books, and insisted on wrapping each one individually...needless to say, Sol enjoyed the wrapping paper more...though he does love books, so I'm sure her gift will go down well!

Today was the first day back for schools, thankfully Asha was looking forward to going back. Also had our community meeting this morning, good to share hopes, fears and dreams for this next period of time.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) People who really care for us, despite the distance.
2) Asha's beaming face when I picked her up from school - she reported back that her day had been 'great fun'! Let's hope that feeling lasts!
3) That feeling of fresh bedding - I can hardly wait to get under the covers with a book and a cup of tea (as long as I don't spill the tea on said bedding!).
