David Bowie

David Bowie died yesterday so I popped into the loft to find some old records.  He was lucky to reach 69 being a heavy smoker.  I mind him in the 70s, such carefree times as a teenager at the youth club discos.

However these records bring back sad memories, my friend was a big fan and had all his records but she suddenly died a couple of months before her 21st and her mum gave me the records.  

Her mum never got over the death of her only child.  Her dad had been through Dunkirk so didn't show his feelings.  They have since both passed on themselves.
