Serious Moonlight

From either July 1st or 2nd 1983 (I was there both nights with my friend Andy). I was 18 years and 3 weeks old.

My Mum came on the Friday because she loved him too, in fact she had the first David Bowie LP in our house (Ziggy, a present from my sister, wrapped in silver foil).

On the Saturday I got to the front during 'Station to Station' as it really kicks in ("it's not the side effects of the cocaine, I'm thinking that it must be love...", that bit) and I'm SURE he looked right at me as I grabbed hold of the rail at the front to steady myself in the melee.

I KNOW he did.
