Visiting The Toon

This morning started with a trip to the opticians for Olivia. Her eyes are slightly worse than in the summer but not enough to need new glasses, which is good.
From here we called in to see some friends and then headed into toon with the cousins. We had a look at Fenwick's window which is a department store in Newcastle that has always done a lovely Christmas window display. Then we headed to Vertigo in Eldon Square which my brother had booked for the two oldest cousins. Olivia could barely contain her excitement when we arrived and she saw all the different climbing walls. She absolutely loved all of the challenges. Meanwhile the two little cousins went into the soft play. I'm sure we'll be returning on our next visit up north!
