Napping Mallard

A wet ride in to work, but its not too bad apart from the easterly breeze slows me down. A busy morning in the office.

This female mallard is having a nap on the Water of Leith being watched over by an attentive male. Although the river is running very high and fast, this part of the river is very quiet. 

The cycle home, it starts off wet, and turns in to a persistent drizzle. Moist, definitely moist.
