Day 20 - No More Heroes

It (the telemark festival) didn't quite go to the original plan, but I feel satisfied that we achieved the main objectives. Some old friends came together to share their enthusiasm for Telemark skiing. None of us backed out, we all telemarked every day, no alpine skiing, no snowboarding despite our previous persuasions. We all had fleeting moments of the special feeling you only get from this bizarre, authentic method of skiing. It's one of those sports that can flow, and when you are on your game you glide along like a bird flying on a thermal unaware of any thought process or technique, just flowing along. And once you get even the smallest taste of that feeling you want more. And it's because of that feeling that we will all be back for ITF-2. I can't wait!
