Getting Started

Just getting started on this rainy day project.  Whenever the weather was not cooperating for being outdoors, my mom would get busy in the kitchen.  Making pasta, pies, whatever moved her on that particular day.  Many times when she came to visit, she usually stayed over night, and often wanted to fill my freezer with her goodies (no argument there).  So with today's heavy mist and rain, I got busy making gnocchi - a kind of pasta made with flour and potatoes.  Felt like she might have lent a hand too.
