preparing for liftoff

Yesterday I thought I heard the faint cry of a red tailed hawk, but all I could see was a lone Blue Jay in the distance. Then I read yesterday's blip by dbifulco where she mentioned that Jay's mimic Hawks! Isn't Blip such a great place! But today I saw the real deal - a red tailed hawk right on our walking trail!
