King Arthur's Round Table

If it's Monday we must be in a drizzly, dreary Winchester! 

Here is King Arthur's Round Table, or so they would have you believe, now mounted on a wall.

Next stop Winchester Cathedral for a quick look at Jane Austen's grave, and then a quick stop off for a sausage sandwich for lunch.

Why were we in such a rush? Because we only had enough change between us for 2 hours parking in the pay and display, as the machine spat out our american credit and debit cards with a sneer. As it happens, 2 hours was just long enough for what we wanted to do!
