Chemistry. Leitz Summicron 50mm DR

Some years ago I was given this glass-stoppered jar by a friend.  He felt that since radiographers work with barium (sometimes more intimately than we would like...), I was the right person to have the jar.  My Editor acquired some dried grasses for decoration in the living room and had the nice idea of putting some of these wheat stalks in my jar.  Here they are, strange yet congruent bed fellows.
