No snow - snowdrops

Frustrating day: raining all morning and the snow on the highest hills across the valley at 7am had been rained off by 9am. The rain stopped early afternoon and I went out with the idea of delivering all the invitations to the 'presentation' to our eggs2iPads 'teachers' but Mini decided she didn't like the recent weather and threatened to strand me in some far flung location so I abandoned for today. I'll do it tomorrow; it takes about 3 hours on foot if Mini has another tantrum.
However, I saw the snowdrops have sprung out of the waterlogged ground and if they can look so cheerful so can I. A quick 'snap' before it rains again.
