La'l Ratty

We went to the cafe for lunch at Dalegarth station. The train 'La'l Ratty ' was arriving when we got there so I rushed on to the platform for a photo. It used to carry iron ore from Boot to Ravenglass and is now a tourist attraction.
We were there to leave the car and walk to St Catherine's church where some of my husband's ancestors are buried. With the amount of rain falling it's a wonder some of them didn't put in a surprise appearance by being washed away.
