Old Friends...

I'm at the point in my life where with kids and sprawling spreading out social connections, I have some friends that are a bit further away and that we see less often.

I think a real indicator of a good friendship is when whether you've seen them 2 weeks ago or 2 years ago, or in this case more than 5 years ago, it's like you spoke to them yesterday.

Ritchie and Nicola are over for Christmas from Australia and were passing our way today. We got our first time to meet Piper here and get acquainted with her brother who was her age last time we met up.

It was a great day and brilliant to catch up.
