Jewelled web

It was cold this morning, only the second time this, so far mild, winter that it's been icy on my hill. I was on a mission, up and out early to lop some over hanging branches from the accidental tree in my garden. 

I was glad I started early, I got it lopped, chopped and into the garden waste bin before the rain settled in. This afternoon I soaked my aching muscles in a hot bath - they appreciated the effort!
