Evacuate!

Not really...

Bad Granny and Prickly Grandad got a guided tour of the City Chambers today. There is a lift, but we thought we'd go to the top in the lift and work down.

Actually the sign in the lobby says 'Elevator'. There's just something about that I find odd. Do we call lifts elevators? It is possible though that the sign has been there since the lift was fitted, at which point it may been referred to as an elevator.

It is an amazing building but my other photos weren't very good. I will have to go again with the good camera.
