At the Lavender Farm

It has been a very hot and windy day.  +25C.   I was serving morning tea at church today, and we were busy as the church was full.

I decided to go to the Lavender Farm to get my blip photo today.  This lavender isn't irrigated as it produces better oil if it has to struggle to survive.  (That is why the grass is so brown).  They are going to harvest the lavender in about 3 weeks time.  The perfume was wonderful, so I bought a bottle of hand cream.  To the right of the photo is Mt Iron and in the distance between the trees is Black Peak with snow on the top.
