SAILOR ON THE BANK
Model yachting of course requires the sailor to be in control through a Radio Transmiter and a radio receiver. The radio is used by moving the two controls for the Sails and for the rudder. This coordination gets it round the course. The transmiter is in the hands of the sailor and the receiver is in the boat and the two talk to each other as the sailor demands.
Here we see one of the sailors on the bank in the background steering his boat amongst others. Its quite demanding as the boats go quite fast
The normal rules of sailing apply.
I'm taking the picture from a small dinghy. I was about to collect the bouys at the end of the days racing. 7 races were had this day.
